Hillary Clinton for President is now a slogan.
More than three years before the next US Presidential election, the name of Hillary Clinton is back in the news as a potential Democratic candidate and future “Madam President.”
It is too soon to project her victory but it is surely wise not to be overconfident that America is ready to elect a woman to the White House. She is competent and she has a good chance as long the Republican party refuses to change its image as a party of rich White men, sympathizers of the Tea Party.
As the Swahili of Tanzania say, “A drum that is sounded loudly will soon split.”
