Dennis Rodman in North Korea: You cannot exchange peace for war

Dennis Rodman and his trip with the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team to North Korea prove that sports certainly can bring people together. It proves also that aggressiveness and sanctions are not a diplomatic way of solving issues. Dennis Rodman is not a politician but an ex-athlete who can bring together the Korean people and the rest of the world.

Should we believe all the propaganda by Western media about North Korea? One thing is sure: poverty can be due to sanctions. Cuba is an illustration!

Nobody believes that the North Korean regime is perfect. The more the West pressures the North Korean regime, the more hostile it will be. For sure, a peaceful word is better than conflicts. As the Hausa of Niger say, “You cannot exchange peace for war.”
