Herman Cain has quit his bid for the US presidency. It was inevitable. Too many women popped up from nowhere to put him down. Now that he is out of the race, his ex-contenders are waiting anxiously for his endorsement. The most likely candidates are Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich: Romney, a fellow businessman, and Gingrich, a fellow womanizer.

The question is, how many supporters does he have left after his series of sexual scandals? Nobody knows if his endorsement will help or hurt.

Is Herman Cain still a political influence?┬áNobody knows. We will see in few weeks. As the Yoruba of Nigeria say, “A tree is best measured when it is down.”
