New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie, is one of the still undecided GOP contenders for the 2012 presidential race. The popular governor is under a lot of pressure from his supporters. The governor is young and dynamic, certainly very capable to lead the United States. The question is, is it the right time for him to run for president?

It will be a big mistake for him to run for president now. He will have a better chance after he gains some political maturity. The governor has some tough decisions to make. He must run to win. If he loses, it will symbolize the end of his political career. As the Hutu of Burundi say, “If you are to jump a swamp, you need to make one long hurdle.”
