The fall of Colonel Ghaddafi is imminent. The international criminal court has issued an arrest warrant for the Libyan leader, his son, and his brother-in-law for crimes against humanity.

The news is not a big surprise. NATO has tried dropping bombs to remove him from power, without success. Sometimes I wonder why countries that point out the unfairness of the West do not pull out from the UN? The strong rule the world based on their economic interests. They put in power people who will serve their interests until they get tired of them.

Things are going to be harder for Colonel Ghaddafi. He had a chance to find an honorable exit by quitting. He will certainly end up like Milosevic, the Serbian leader.

Colonel Ghaddafi is one of the longest serving heads of state in the world and one of the richest as well. This war against the West has cost him his son. He cannot win! His old allies China and Russia are powerless. As the xhosa of South Africa say, “Greed loses what it has gained.”
