The death of Osama Bin Laden is still very fresh in our memory. His death is a kick to Al-Qaeda.
President Obama’s step-grandmother, who still lives in Kenya, is under threat by Al-Qaeda-associated groups (such as the Somali group Al Shabab) to be killed as revenge for Osama’s death. Kenyan authorities are concerned. Kenya has welcomed thousands of Somali refugees due to their civil war.
Here in the US, there are concerns for the safety of the Navy SEAL team that killed bin Laden. For sure, Al-Qaeda supporters are angry and they will make President Obama pay the price for ordering the killing of their leader. As the Bakota of Gabon say, “The danger that threatens the hunting dog threatens the hunter, too.”
