The French, Italians, and British are struggling to finish their “mission” in Libya. Colonel Ghaddafi’s troops are using human shields to fight the rebels supported by NATO air strikes. Technically, it is impossible to defeat Colonel Ghaddafi by throwing bombs from the air. The latest news from the field is not so good for the rebels: they are losing and the war is lasting. French, Italians, and British have decided to send “military liaisons” on the ground to support the rebels.

We live in a world of lies and cover ups. Instead of saying clearly that they are sending in ground troops, they are twisting it with another term to justify their actions. For those who follow world affairs, this is the classic method of imperialism. We live in a world where there is no shame in destroying those who are less strong for their natural resources. Democracy is the magic word as an excuse for expansion. 

The French and British need oil and do not care about the Libyan people. The humanitarian mission is clearly a ruse. As the Swahili of Tanzania say, “When a plate is covered, its contents are hidden.”
