It is hard to resist Donald Trump’s folly. He’s everywhere, on every TV station. Trump didn’t miss trashing ex-President George W. Bush and calling his potential GOP contenter Mitt Romney a “small businessman.”

Trump has also clearly become the voice of the Birthers, a fringe group that claims that President Obama was born in Kenya and is not actually an American. America’s first “birther” bill was passed in Arizona. If Trump chooses to run for President, his main message will be more focused on President Obama’s birthplace and how America is losing its prestige.

I have not heard any proposals for how to fix the economy, just blanket criticism. Donald Trump is more an opportunist, a showman who loves to be on the spotlight. The personage itself is a combination of Tea Bagger and Birther in one. Definitely, the Tea Party and the Birthers are the perfect grounds for Mr. Trump to get some votes and support.

What a waste of time and energy! As the people of Madagascar say, “Do not waste your time looking for soft ground to drive your spade in.”
