Childreen of the same mother do not always agree. When Judson Phillips, a Tea Party leader, wrote a letter to the Speaker of the house John Boehner informing him that he looks like a fool, it shows the disagreement between the conservatives and the ultra conservatives within the GOP over the spending cuts in their budget proposal. The “little brother” is disrespecting his older brother.

The Tea Party movement is lice in the head of the GOP. This incident is a reminder to the Republican party of the danger in their “love story” with the extremist movement. Despite their rhetoric and extremist views, the Tea Party will not become the voice of the GOP. As the Mandinka of Gambia say, “No matter how long a log may float in water, it will never become a crocodile.”
