Prevent Iran from making a nuclear weapon: When the head of a snake is cut off, the rest of his body is an ordinary rope

The whistleblower site Wikileaks has certainly succeeded in getting world attention. It also helps us to know what world leaders think in the shadows and the way they play a double game between nations on important international matters. So far, the countries of the Arab Gulf are certainly the ones being shamed in their stand against their neighbor Iran.

Prime Minister Netanyahu is certainly pleased by the release of these leaks. By urging privately to “cut the head of the snake,”  King Abdullah of Saudia Arabia agreed with the Israelis and the Americans about the danger of a nuclear Iran. It also showed the fear among Iran’s neighbors. That fear is symbolized by increased arms sales by the US to its allies in the Arab Gulf.

Prime Minister Netanyahu does not have to make a case to prevent Iran from making a nuclear weapon. There is a unanimous fear worldwide. It is urgent to stop Iran now before it’s too late. As the Bambara of Mali say, “When the head of a snake is cut off, the rest of his body is an ordinary rope.”
