North Korea hits South Korea despite good will: Gratitude of a donkey is a kick

Tension is still very high on the Korean peninsula. South Korea is one of the rare countries in the world who has sent humanitarian aid to its northern neighbor since the embargo.

Despite the good intentions of South Korea, it has been hit twice by its neighbor this year. It is unclear how much more South Korea needs to be hit in order to retaliate. North Korea’s behavior is a bad way to show its gratitude to a neighbor who has the same history and culture. As the Swahili of Tanzania say, “Gratitude of a donkey is a kick.”
