Murkowski wins Senate race: Any dead fish can flow down the river, but it takes a live one to swim back up stream

Lisa Murkowski has won the Republican Senate seat in Alaska, beating Tea Party Express candidate Joe Miller. Her write-in bid for the US Senate has been criticized by her opponents after her loss in the GOP primaries.

Joe Miller’s loss is a shared loss for him and Sarah Palin. Palin and Murkowski seem to have bad blood relations. Honestly, who could believe that a candidate who lost in the primaries could overcome and win the election? Senator Murkowski was not dead yet. As the Basa of Cameroon say, “Any dead fish can flow down the river, but it takes a live one to swim back up stream.”
