President Obama has been pushing hard to secure the Democratic Senate and House of Representatives. The Commander-in-Chief has been transformed to a “passenger pigeon.” He has crossed the United States from West to East to revive the soul of the Democratic party.

In the Republican stronghoods, especially in the South, there is no hope. We have seen President Obama back in campaign mode. The spirit of American is down; people are worried about the economy. Hopefully, the new dynamism in the Democratic party will stop the Tea Party insurgency and the GOP ultra-conservatives from making America a theocracy.

For sure, the Democratic awakening will pay off. As the Bambara of Mali say, “The chicken that digs for food will not sleep hungry.”
