The latest news from Haiti is discouraging. After the earthquake tragedy that killed thousands of people, the Caribbean country has been hit by an epidemic of cholera. That is the last thing Haiti needs at the time the country is still recovering from a national tragedy. 

Wishes and prayers may not be enough to lift the spirit of the Haitian people. If God is in charge of giving a nation its destiny, then he has been unfair. The suffering in Haiti is beyond imagination.

It is not necessary to think about curses, but rather how to lift the spirit of the people of Haiti. The worst enemy is the loss of hope.
