Being Sarah Palin’s protegee can be good if you are a Tea Party fan. Christine O’Donnell, the winner of the GOP primaries in Delaware, is going through the same treatment that her “God mother” went through after she was picked by John McCain as a running mate for the presidential race of 2008.

Honestly, it is unfair to attack a person who clearly won an election. You may disagree with what she believes in, but bringing back what she said 20 years ago is just insane. America, you deserve the type of media you have and the type of politicians that you elect. The civil war within the GOP was known prior the primaries and noone gave O’Donnell a chance to defeat the Republican candidate. She won and, in a democracy (if America is a real democracy like many are proud to claim), you should respect the choice of the people who have elected her.

For sure Sarah Palin must be scratching her head again, cursing the media by the way they are treating Christine O’Donnell. As the Hutu of Rwanda say, “What itches in the daughter’s skirt, itches also in her mother’s.”
