Brown tries to clear his name: Birds sing not because they have answers, but because they have songs

Former President George W. Bush and former FEMA director Michael Brown will be forever tied to the failure of the federal administration after Katrina devasted the Gulf coast. Five years has already passed, but the memories are still fresh.

Believe it or not, Michael Brown is visiting New Orleans for the fifth Katrina anniversary. This man, unjustly blamed for the failure of then-President George W. Bush’s lack of leadership, has been fighting back to clear his name.

Brown also blames the lack of cooperation from former New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin. All the interviews by Nagin on TV were just for show. As the Bakota of Gabon say, “Birds sing not because they have answers, but because they have songs.”
