Alvin Greene, the surprise South Carolina Democratic nominee for the US Senate, was indicted on obscenity charges. Mr. Greene was charged with showing pornographic materials to a woman at the University of South Carolina.

While he is still a curiosity for many — and a worry for the Democrats as someone who popped up from nowhere to become their candidate for the US Senate — many “bad tongues” believe that Alvin Greene is mentally sick.

If a miracle happens, and that the man is elected to the US Senate, he will join the list of those in Washington who are champions of sex scandals. America, why should you be surprised about these allegations? Porn, sex, drugs and money are at the top of the list of what American culture is about.
