North Korea has reacted angrily to the joint military exercise between South Korea and the US, seeing  it as provocative behavior. For those of us who believe in peace, we are holding our breath that this psychological war does not start a nuclear war.

The world is dealing with two renegate states, North Korea and Iran, who are refusing the dictates of the US and its allies. No matter what attitude North Korea takes, anger is a bad advisor. Until the end of the US-South Korean exercise, we keep our fingers crossed. As the Maasai of Kenya say, “Don’t beat the drums of war unless you are ready to fight.”
