Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is everywhere, endorsing women for various political races. After endorsing Carly Fiorina in California, the most liberal state in the US, Mrs. Palin has oriented her crusade toward the Deep South: Nikki Haley for governor of South Carolina and Karen Handel for governor in Georgia.

I do not know what Mrs. Palin is trying to achieve or what message she is sending to society. Being the leader of the Tea Party movement, her fingerprints on South Carolina and Georgia elections will fuel racial tension. With her philosophies and rhetoric, the South for Mrs. Palin is like her own backyard. As the Mossi of Burkina Faso say, “A guinea fowl will not lay eggs in strange places.”
