The criticism directed toward President Obama for not being angry enough at BP is funny. In a disaster, the last person who should lose his temper is the chief of the village.

I wonder if people know how challenging it is to stop a leak thousand of miles in deep sea. If the solution was that easy, the US government – who has put men on the moon - would not let this ecologic catastrophy continue.

The question is, when is the right time to act? What tone should the White House use toward BP? No matter how angry Obama is, anger will not solve the problem. Rushing to a quick fix can lead to a worse scenario.

Anger is madness. America expects the man who has his finger on the nuclear button to show his anger? Aren’t we afraid of Ahmadinejad having nuclear weapons because we all fear the anger of a crazy Islamist? No, anger is a bad advisor. As the Berber of Morocco say, “Almost everyone is mad but some people are better at controlling their anger.”
