Blagojevich Attorneys Want to Subpoena President Obama: A drowning man will clutch at a straw.

The lawyers of former Ilinois governor Rod Blagojevich have filed a motion to subpoena President Obama to testify at their client’s trial in june. (If you recall, Blagojevich is accused of trying to sell the president’s senate seat after he was elected President of the United States.)

The Blagojevich saga is not over yet. The presumption of innocence is everyone’s right, even politicians. But, things have never looked good for the ex-governor since the beginning of the whole story. Is this move a distraction to buy time? As the Fante of Ghana say, “A drowning man will clutch at a straw.”
