Earthquake in Dalai Lama’s Birthplace in China: A fly that dances carelessly in front of a spider’s web, risks the wrath of the spider’s teeth.

The earthquake in China has killed hundreds of people. The Dalai Lama, the Tibetan spiritual leader, appealed to the Chinese government to allow him to visit the devastated region where he was born.

Sometimes, in times of sorrow and tragedy, people overcome their differences and get together. But, the Dalai Lama should know that he is the lice in China’s hair. He should not expect any positive response from Beijing. Any attempt to visit the Qinghai province could cost him his freedom.

As the Bakota of Gabon say, “A fly that dances carelessly in front of a spider’s web, risks the wrath of the spider’s teeth.”
