Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas: a crocodile running away from rain to seek refuge in the river.

Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of a Hamas founder, has revealed in a new book “Son of Hamas”¬†that he was a Shin Bet spy for 10 years. The news is a shock in Gaza and among the Palestinian people. Of course the reaction of Hamas was to deny that he was part of their organization. His own father disowned him on Monday.

His story of Hamas abuses might be true. He might have saved Israeli lives, but the Israelis did not use soft hands to crush Yousef’s people in Gaza. The Israeli government does not abuse its people but its army was accused of using illegal weapons against the Palestinian people.

If Israel was “the good guy” why didn’t Masab Hassan Yousef seek a refuge in Israel, instead of living in the US? Definitely, his life is in danger for selling his soul to the enemy. As the Bangala of Congo say, Yousef is like “a crocodile running away from rain to seek refuge in the river.”
