Former Vice-President Dick Cheney had his fifth heart attack, which seems a lot for one human being. He had a long political career and deserves to retire from politics and rest.

Unfortunately, after the Bush administration left the White House, Dick Cheney has been the most vocal critic of the Obama’s administration. It is unclear if he feels that there no true charismatic leaders in the Republican party to challenge the new administration.

For someone who survived a series of heart attacks, the worse thing to do is to continue political activities. He is 69 years old. Far from blaming him for his health problems, we wish him a full recovery and strongly advise him to live a quiet and peaceful life. Mr Cheney is not superman and luck cannot be on his side for the sixth time. As the Baganda of Uganda say, “Even the mightiest eagle comes down to the treetops to rest.”
