Mrs.Chinchilla will become the first woman to lead her country after securing a clear victory in the presidential election in Costa Rica. She is joining a short list of women presidents in the world, such as:Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, Maria Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of Philippines, and Michele Bachelet of Chile.

For sure, the more women there are in politics, the better society will be. In the international arena, there will certainly be fewer wars. Women will certainly do more good than bad. Despite their ability of being “talkative” they can certainly handle crises better and understand society better than men do. As the Indians of South Africa say, “A man without a woman is only half a man.”
