Ted Kennedy is certainly rolling over in his grave. He will be replaced in the Senate by Republican Scott Brown. Massachusetts has turned the page with the past and started a new chapter after 47 years of a Democratic seat.

The name Ted Kennedy was not enough to convince voters to choose a Democrat. This defeat is a huge loss for the Democrats and a sign of more trouble ahead. Unfortunately, as the Swahili of Tanzania say, “A dead body cannot urge over how it should be placed in the grave.”
