Words are like arrows. Throw them only when you know where they will fall.

Creating a diplomatic brouhaha this week in Pakistan, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that it was hard to believe that no one in the Pakistani government knew where Al Qaeda leaders were hiding.

I have to say that it takes a lot of guts to say loudly what everybody thinks in their hearts and in their own backyard. Many in Pakistan did not like the frank talk from a U.S. official. But sometimes, people do not like to hear the truth. As the Yakoma of Central African Republic say, “Words are like arrows. Throw them only when you know where they will fall.”
