Your secret is your blood — when you shed it you die.

While the public is waiting for the president’s decision about adding more troops in Afghanistan, military strategy is discussed openly on the news. Generals are invited to discuss their “strategy” about this difficult war. The enemies of America on the ground know it and are getting smarter.

Are Americans so naive? A military strategy should not be discussed in public at the time of war. If American networks and their “military strategists” give away critical  information to the enemy, what is the point of mourning the death of our young men and women? It is a recipe for more casualties among the US troops. As the Berber of Algeria say, “Your secret is your blood — when you shed it you die.”
