The Senate committee approved a plan to revamp the U.S. health care system today. It was good news in the right direction. As usual, the Republicans were not supportive. Definitely a bipartisan compromise is pure utopia.
Meanwhile, the little people — the desperate 50 million uninsured Americans — have only God for protection. But, there is hope that the invisible in the richest country on earth will have a chance to afford a doctor. As the Hutu of Burundi say, “The smaller the lizard, the greater the hope of becoming a crocodile.”
