Definitely, the eight years of the George W. Bush regime will haunt Dick Cheney until his last day on earth. The latest news is that former Vice President Dick Cheney ordered the CIA to keep an intelligence program secret from congress.

Usually when important information is held secret, bad things are going on. At this point it is too early to speculate. Even though Dick Cheney is one of the most controversial and certainly hated American politicians, the Democrats are politicizing the matter to score a political point.

In reality, what would the actions of a very unpopular congress have been if they were told what was going on? Dick Cheney is certainly not an angel, and those who were tortured were not choir boys. Nobody knows exactly what information was held from congress and why.
