Once again North Korea has deceived the world: more missiles were launched recently. As usual, the UN Security Council has condemned the missile tests by North Korea.

What is new? We have seen the same thing over and over. The sanctions do not affect the regime in Pyongyang. This type of behavior is a threat to regional and international security.

The truth is that UN Security Council is ridiculous. The UN Security Council is a paper tiger. It has only words to condemn but no real action is taken. Unfortunately, as the Igbo of Nigeria say, “A bad habit that lasts more than a year may turn into a custom.”
