The best way to eat the elephant standing in your path is to cut it up into little pieces.

The world is watching what is going on in Iran, powerless to stop it. It is frustrating to see a young woman on the ground, bleeding and dying, and people being shot. The more violent the terrorists — in this case, the Iranian police and revolutionary guard — the more determined the people are. Riot police attacked hundreds of demonstrators with tear gas and fired live bullets in the air to disperse rallies.

At a certain point, it will not be necessary for the Obama administration to be reserved. France has condemned the Iranian regime loudly. Other countries have concerns as well. It is shameful to let these brave women and men be beaten or shot.

No matter how strong the Iranian regime believes it is, the people’s will is stronger. Their government sooner or later will collapse. People’s desire for freedom is unstoppable. As the Fang of Gabon say, “The best way to eat the elephant standing in your path is to cut it up into little pieces.”
