President Barack Obama is coming to the end of his first 100 days in office. Despite the difficult economic time, his popularity among Americans and the rest of the world is still very high.
Obama is certainly the fresh air that America and the rest of the world needed. He came to the White House at a very difficult time and had an ambitious plan to fight the rising unemployment, which affects directly the housing sector. His administration has done a phenomenal job even though the results are not still measurable. But they are certainly on the right track.
The honeymoon with the American people will not last forever. His administration will face some obstacles such as the health care problem, or other tough challenges ahead. America and the rest of the world have a lot of expectations. As the Chewa of Malawi say, “Low is the mountain, high the expectations.”
