Sometimes, heroes are not recognized because they work in the shadows. I’m referring to Tim Geithner, responsible for fixing the financial sector, the engine for the economic recovery. Obama‘s approval rating should be credited to this man who was unjustly targeted by the GOP, calling for him to resign from his job. Tim Geithner didn’t certainly smell the AIG scandal coming. It is unfortunate that he got the blame for it. As the Bambara of Mali say, “A deaf man may not have heard the thunder but he surely will see the rain.”
