The world economy is bad. In the U.S. things are not getting better, either. The role played by the media is not helping. The campaign of fear on the radio and TV is affecting everyone.

Clearly, the economic recession will last for while. Fear is not the solution. Instead of being positive and limiting the alarmist economic news, CNN should lift the American people’s spirit. People are certainly tired of bad news everyday. As the Bangala of Congo say, “Beating drums is fun, but also tiring.”
