Conservative activists on Saturday named former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney the winner of a poll for best 2012 GOP presidential candidate. Bobby Jindal, the new star of the Republican party, came in second place — but ahead of Sarah Palin. Even though this poll doesn’t mean anything, it shows that the Republican party is still in search of a true inspiring leader that carries their conservative values.

Bobby Jindal is seen as a potential challenger to Obama, but since his speech in response to the President after the State of the Union, he has been under intense criticism within his own party. His performance was not what the conservatives expected. Even though the GOP is trying to present its party as a multi-racial party, it still has a long way to go.

I see the GOP as the political KKK. The difference is that they don’t kill directly people. We have seen how much hatred Sarah Palin injected into the presidential campaign. I don’t believe that the GOP would pick a non-White such as Bobby Jindal to speak for them. I would even say without fear that it is impossible. Impossible, especially if Rush Limbaugh is the symbol and the voice of the GOP. Impossible if Rush Limbaugh speaks the same language that he’s known for: hatred. I don’t know how long it will take for Bobby Jindal and Michael Steele to realize that they are in the wrong political camp.

Only love, respect, and tolerance toward non-Whites within the GOP would lift Bobby Jindal and attract minorities in the Republican party. As the Indians of South Africa say, “It is love that makes the impossible possible.”
