President Obama and his economic team promised a crackdown on Wall Street’s excessive compensation. The new administration has been taking measures to change the way the Bush administration used to run the country.
The President knows that very soon the honeymoon with the American people will be over. He has to act quickly and reverse the situation by creating jobs. He certainly understands that he will be judged based on the economic situation. If things go bad with his economic stimulus plan, he will be responsible for the failure. Regulating Wall Street is a good start.
