Happy New Year to all my readers and followers on Twitter and Facebook. A new year is the beginning of a new challenge — so many wishes and goals. So many people hope for a better life, better job, better health, more money, or to move to a different place. For people who believe in God, prayer is the answer. For those who don’t believe in God, it’s destiny.

For me, my biggest hope is peace in the World, peace in Darfur, peace between Israelis and Palestinians, peace in Congo, etc. I know that the economy is the biggest concern for most right now, but as people all around the world we cannot lose hope that things will be better. As the Tuareg of Mali say, “He who has health has hope, and he who has hope has everything.”
