Like Jessie Jackson caught talking about Obama, Governor Ed Rendell of Pennsylvania was caught by an open mike talking about Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano. He said her main qualification to be Secretary of Homeland Security is that she’s got “no family” and, therefore, has “19-20 hours a day” to devote to the position.
It seems like politicians never learn from other people’s mistakes. Clearly the Governor of Pennsylvania’s comment was sexist. As the Bedouins of Egypt say, “A secret is like a dove: when it leaves my hand, it takes wing.”
