There are many ways of coping with a loss. Some people find their way by using humor, like John McCain did to deal with his presidential defeat.
Some, like Sarah Palin, seem to talk more to the press now than during the election campaign. This is a time for her to restore her “image” after a series of bad interviews. She seems to enjoy fighting back against her detractors within the McCain entourage and a certain media that she believed treated her unfairly. This is the time for her to show to the world that she is tough, that she earned her nickname of “Barracuda”. She called her detractors of “jerks” and some of the media “bad apples.” As the Basoga of Uganda say, “If you are threatened by a man, sleep at night, if it is a woman then stay awake.”
