By choosing the dark road to run their campaign, John McCain and Sarah Palin have had bad news lately in return. The people’s opinion of her is going down, suggesting that she was a bad choice for John McCain. I remember her popularity right after the Republican convention, her ambition to “clean up Washington,” portraying herself as a “typical hockey mom,” claiming loudly her “values,” etc. Then came: the conservative woman who believes in abstinence-only sex education has her daughter pregnant at 17, “Trooper gate”, and then her famous interview with Katie Couric, and more.
The latest news is that she spent $150,000 on clothes with the Republican Party’s money. Wow! A typical hockey mom doesn’t spend such money on clothes. This is a lesson that every American should learn: how hypocritical politicians are. She doesn’t even apply what she preaches during her campaign. She basically presents herself as Hollywood star.
This is the real Sarah Palin, full of contradictions. As the the Creole of Reunion island say, “You can’t have two faces under one hat.”
