During the last debate, the Senator from Illinois Barack Obama showed his maturity and the better understanding of the situation that the United States is facing. Who could believe that a couple of months ago, his political opponents — within his own party and the Republican party — were saying that he was not ready to lead.

Today when I look back and listen to his messages through the debates and his speeches around the country, I am convinced that the man has grown a lot. It seems like every time that he has a chance he shows his dexterity on any issue concerning the American people. He has the qualities and the gifts of a great leader, a leader who knows what to say at the right time.

Watch him talk about education:

Senator Obama has to have something “unique” to be where he is today. I just can’t tell what. By surrounding himself with good advisors, I can tell that he’s a good listener and a humble man who likes to learn things that he doesn’t know.

As the Mossi of Burkina-Faso say, “It is by growing that the Bamboo tree adds new rings.”
