Senator Obama did the right thing by supporting the bailout. People won’t like his decision now but they must see it in a long run. He can’t afford to inherit a financial crisis in his first term presidency. The bailout is a bitter pill to swallow but necessary. As the Kongo of Congo say, “It is better to marry an ugly woman than to have an empty house.”
